Client Needs & Objectives
Organize a Business Hackathon focused on blockchain technology to:
- Educate the bank’s employees on the technology
- Contribute to instill an innovation mindset in the bank
- Select the best ideas to be implemented as proof of concepts
The deliverable expected from each team: a business solution i.e. 3 to 5 slides to be presented to the jury (composed of bank’s executives) in a 5 min pitch plus 5 min Q&A session
Our approach
- Defined the agenda of the 2-day event:
- Day 1: keynote on blockchain and panel of experts; ideation process from ideas generation to 3 ideas to 1 idea, building of the business solution
- Day 2: deep dive of the solution and preparation of the pitch
- Selected 5 teams mixing various profiles: 1 Business line (FO), 1 Operations (MO-BO), 1 Developer (IT), 1 Coverage or Support Function, 1 Client / Vendor, 1 Blockchain expert, 1 Animator
- Managed the logistics (venue, food & beverage, electronics)
- Prepared the communication materials (emails, press release)
- Conducted 2 training sessions on blockchain & smart contracts
- Supporting material: run-of-show
