Control tower concept to track the progress against the various timelines to ensure milestones are met, dependencies are monitored, and issues & risks are escalated as appropriate.

The objectives were threefold:

  • Maintain an integrated global project plan, including status updates from multiple stakeholders across different business lines, and publish status dashboards
  • Coordination of KYC teams in Asia to ensure to meet all timelines, objectives and targets overall
  • Optimize the structuration of the operational procedures implementing the KYC Policy

Our approach

  • Tracker implementation: Data share point for collection of all the relevant information allowing to perform data analysis up to date
  • Daily dashboards: Monitoring the progress, tracking movements, detecting blocking points and inconsistencies
  • Reconciliation: Scope adjustment and data update on a weekly basis to ensure all the cases are addressed
  • Procedures writing and update: impact studies on workflows and KYC IT systems, clarification of priorities between CIB instructions and local specificities, update of existing KYC checklist by client types/ products, workshop and writing of operational procedures
